Samsung announced the company’s first hardcore gaming monitor, Dubbed as the CFG70 and it will be available in both 24 inches and 27 inches. This 144Hz monitor will have a curved display with a curvature of 1800R. The Samsung CFG70 gaming monitors promise to deliver a silky smooth full HD gaming with 1ms response time.
Both models roll will AMD’s own FreeSync Tech, able to synchronize screen refresh rates in concert with user’s AMD graphics cards. Each of these units incorporates a stand which can tilt, and both of the CFG70 models can also swivel and pivot. All models have 2x HDMI and one Display Port. All models have a single headphone-out port.
Both CFG70 models have both Gaming UX and Arena Lighting. The Arena Lighting is something some of the more extravagant gamers will want to utilize, blasting lights according to content on the screen.
The monitor will use quantom dot tech to achieve 125% sRGB allowing for incredibly vivid and also clear color reproduction. A neat feature is the LED at the bottom side of the Samsung CFG70 that interacts with the sound in your gameplay. This monitor’s on-screen display (OSD) settings are controlled by a unique five way jog key on the back of monitor. The OSD was specifically tailored to gaming and it has immediately clear information on the black equalizer, response time, adaptive sync, refresh rate, and input lag. On the bottom right of the monitor are 3 buttons that allow you to easily switch setting profiles. The durable aluminum frame and stand enable you to adjust its height, swivel, and tilt.
The monitor will be released this year, but Samsung has not given a precise date nor price.
