ASUS Republic of Gamers announced the new ROG G31 gaming desktop, which is possibly the fastest, most powerful compact gaming desktop in the world, as far as specs are concerned.
The ROG G31 gaming desktop, a beastly machine that comes with two NVIDIA GTX 1080 video cards. The new system also offers Intel’s sixth-generation Core i7 processors , as well as up to 64 gigabyte of RAM. The goal with the G31 is to offer 4K gaming at Ultra settings, and in that regard, the desktop delivers.
The ROG G31 Edition 10 was made to celebrate the Republic of Gamer’s brand’s 10-year anniversary, and packs a relatively compact 20-liter chassis, powered by Intel’s latest-generation CPU and TWO NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs with two way SLI for the best over-clocking experience. To keep things nice and cool, there is dual hidden airflow channels in the chassis, with a dedicated ESS audio DAC, amplifier headphone jack and a 3D vapor-chamber thermal technology.
It has a futuristic design with Mayan-inspired markings and ROG-exclusive 3D vapor-chamber thermal technology with dual hidden-airflow channels that help keep the sys cool and quiet.
The G31 also offers four M.2 PCIe SSDs, as well as a Blu-Ray disk drive. There are also a hidden airflow tunnels as well as a 3D Vapor Chamber for effective heat dissipation. It is incredibly difficult to cram all that hardware inside the form factor of the G31, which is why the ASUS has offloaded the 600Watt power supply into a secondary case.
No pricing has been set for this monster as of yet, but you can expect it to be mind-numbingly expensive.
